How do I remove algae in my aquarium that may be accumulating on the inside glass surface?

Whether it is visible or not, algae removal needs to be a regular weekly maintenance task. This is performed simply by going over the inner glass surface with a pad or an aquarium magnet, such as the Fluval Razor+ 2-in-1 Algae Magnet

Can the trim on the top of my Roma aquarium be removed?

No. The trim cannot be removed as it is part of the structural integrity of the aquarium.

Can I place the Roma aquarium on a counter?

No. This aquarium must be placed on a specifically-designed aquarium stand due to its floating base. Failure to use the correct stand may cause the aquarium to leak or crack, and will also void your warranty.

Why is water dripping from the top trim of my Roma?

This is likely the result of damage to the seal at the top trim of the aquarium. When moving the aquarium, do not lift it by the top trim.

Can I set up the Roma as a marine aquarium?

Yes. However, you may have to upgrade the lighting and filtration to suit your specific requirements.

My aquarium is bowing – should I be concerned?

No, it’s normal for large aquariums to bow slightly.

2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

When this aquarium is purchased, Rolf C. Hagen UK Ltd. will honour a two year non-transferable warranty period against leakage due to defective materials and/or workmanship. This warranty is limited to the replacement of the aquarium and excludes responsibility for glass breakage due to negligence or mishandling. The warranty does not cover consequential loss of or damage to animate or inanimate objects. The warranty is valid with proof of purchase only.

We accept all major Credit and Debit cards, and these are processed via a third party payment gateway called Opayo. 

We also accept payments via PayPal and PayPal credit. 

Also, you can pay using Android and Apple Pay if you are using a compatible device. 

Your payment information is processed securely. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.

When speaking to one of our team, we will never ask you for your bank details, passwords or any private information. We will only ever ask for your order number followed by either your postcode, email address or phone number to verify we are talking to the person named on the account.
