Collected from the mineral-rich foothills of the famous Mont Aso Volcano in Japan. Fluval Stratum is the ideal substrate for stimulating the growth of aquatic plants in freshwater aquariums.

• Porous structure allows for rapid colonization of beneficial nitrifying bacteria
